Managing customer records and service history
How do I add a new customer?
Navigate to the Customers section and click "Add Customer". Enter the customer's business name, contact information, address, and any relevant notes. You can also import customers in bulk via CSV file from the import tool.
Can customers submit service requests?
Yes. With the Customer Portal feature, your customers can log in, submit new service requests, and track the status of their existing work orders. You will receive notifications for every new request and can convert them into tasks directly.
How do I view a customer's service history?
Open the customer profile to see a complete chronological history of all tasks, visits, notes, and invoices associated with that customer. You can filter by date range, task type, or personnel to find specific records quickly.
Can I set SLA rules per customer?
Yes. In the customer profile, navigate to the SLA tab to define response time and resolution time targets. The system will track compliance automatically and alert you when an SLA deadline is approaching or has been breached.
How does customer location mapping work?
Each customer record includes an address field that is automatically geocoded and displayed on the map. This helps dispatchers assign nearby tasks to the closest available technician and optimize routes.
