Yes. All location data is encrypted in transit and at rest on AWS servers. Access to location history is restricted by role permissions. Data retention policies can be configured by administrators to comply with local regulations.
How does route optimization work?
The AI-powered route optimizer analyzes task locations, traffic conditions, and technician availability to suggest the most efficient route. This can reduce travel time by up to 30% and significantly lower fuel costs.
Can I view historical routes?
Yes. The route history feature allows you to replay any personnel member's route for a specific date. This is useful for verifying visit completions, auditing travel patterns, and resolving disputes.
What happens to tracking when there is no internet?
The mobile app caches location data locally when offline. Once the device reconnects, all stored location points are automatically synced to the server, ensuring no data is lost during connectivity gaps.
