Task Management

Creating, assigning, and tracking work orders

How do I create a new task?

Navigate to the Tasks section from the main dashboard and click the "New Task" button. Fill in the required fields such as title, description, priority, and due date. You can also assign the task to a specific team member or leave it unassigned for later dispatch.

Can I assign a task to multiple personnel?

Each task can be assigned to one primary personnel member. However, you can create related tasks and group them under the same work order to coordinate multiple team members on a single job. You can also use the bulk assignment feature to quickly assign multiple tasks at once.

How does task status tracking work?

Tasks progress through customizable statuses such as "Pending", "In Progress", "On Hold", and "Completed". Personnel can update the status directly from the mobile app, and managers receive real-time notifications of status changes on the dashboard.

Can I set recurring tasks?

Yes. When creating a task, enable the recurring option and configure the frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, or custom interval). The system will automatically generate new tasks based on your schedule, ensuring preventive maintenance and routine inspections are never missed.

How do I use custom task templates?

Go to Settings and then Task Templates to create reusable templates. Define the default fields, checklists, required forms, and attached documents. When creating a new task, select a template from the dropdown to auto-populate all configured fields.

What is the Kanban view?

The Kanban view provides a visual board where tasks are organized as cards across status columns. You can drag and drop tasks between columns to update their status instantly. This view is ideal for dispatchers and managers who need a quick overview of all active work.
